Consumers are becoming more enviromentally conscious than ever before, thus a growing trend in the international clothing market is the application of eco-friendly and recycled materials in their fabrics. Recycled polyester is an example of using post consumer recycled bottles to create a fabric. Not only does the use of recycled polyester reduce dependency of petroleum and water in the manufacturing process, it also reduces waste and is more efficient than making virgin polyester. Most importantly, using recycled polyester helps cut down on the ecological footprint that is a byproduct of the manufacturing industry. As United Berry continues to improve ways to implement sustainability practices, we proudly offer environmentally friendly produced fabrics so that we can help make a positive difference in the world and we continue to research new ways to do so.

We offer our recycled polyster in various guises, whether its GRS certified recycled polyester yarn, traceable recycled polyester yarn or branded recycled polyester such as REPREVE or THREAD, we have it all to offer you many ways to build your susbtainability stories. In addition to recycled polyester, we also offer recycled Nylon, so ask us about it!

Furthermore, we also have decades of experience working with TENCEL Lyocell in combination with our synthetics fibers. The TENCEL Lyocell fibers is one of the most eco-friendly fibers where it is made out of renweable wood pulp with solvent used that is recycled by almost 100% in the closed loop process.
